Welcome to Deelo. By using our mobile applications, websites, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using Deelo.
1Definitions
- “Platform” refers to the Deelo mobile apps, websites, and related services.
- “Service Seeker” refers to any user booking a service via Deelo.
- “Freelancer” refers to any independent service provider registered on Deelo.
- “We”, “Us”, “Our” refer to DEELO BUSINESS SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Deelo. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
3Nature of Services
Deelo is a marketplace connecting service seekers with freelancers. We do not employ freelancers; they operate as independent contractors. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by freelancers.
4User Responsibilities
For Service Seekers:
- Provide accurate booking details.
- Make timely payments through the platform.
- Behave respectfully and lawfully towards freelancers.
For Freelancers:
- Provide accurate profile and verification details.
- Deliver services as agreed and maintain professionalism.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
5Pricing & Payments
All payments must be made via Deelo’s in-app payment system. Prices may be set by freelancers or negotiated between both parties, with Deelo charging a commission on each transaction.
6Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on the service and must be agreed upon before booking. Deelo reserves the right to issue refunds at its sole discretion.
7Disputes
Any disputes between service seekers and freelancers should be reported to Deelo support within 48 hours of service completion. We may mediate but do not guarantee resolution.
8Prohibited Activities
- Misuse of the platform for illegal activities.
- Harassment, abuse, or discrimination.
- Bypassing the platform to avoid commission fees.
9Limitation of Liability
Deelo is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from services booked through the platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the commission received from the disputed transaction.
10Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
11Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kerala.
