- Identity & Verification (Freelancers): Aadhaar/ID details, driver’s license, certifications, background checks (where applicable).
- Booking & Transaction Data: services booked, time/date, price, coupons, payment status.
- Payment Data: processed via our payment partners (e.g., Razorpay); we do not store full card details.
- Communications: in‑app chat, support tickets, email/phone interactions.
- Device & Usage: IP address, device IDs, app version, crash logs, cookies, analytics events.
- Location: approximate or precise location for service matching and safety (with permission).
- Optional Portfolio Data (Freelancers): images, links, descriptions of past work.
3How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage accounts; enable bookings and payments.
- Verify freelancer identity and eligibility; maintain safety and trust.
- Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
- Personalize content, recommendations, and promotions.
- Monitor, detect, and prevent fraud or prohibited activities.

4Legal Bases (DPDP/GDPR‑equivalent)
- Consent: marketing communications, precise location, optional data.
- Performance of Contract: enabling bookings, payments, support.
- Legitimate Interests: platform security, fraud prevention, analytics.
- Legal Obligation: KYC/recordkeeping, responding to lawful requests.
5Sharing of Information
- Freelancers ↔ Service Seekers: limited profile and booking details necessary to fulfill services.
- Service Providers: payments (e.g., Razorpay), analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), cloud hosting (e.g., AWS), SMS/Email providers, background check vendors.
- Corporate & Legal: for compliance, safety, mergers/acquisitions (with safeguards).
- We require processors to follow appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
6International Transfers
Data may be processed outside India by trusted vendors subject to contractual safeguards and applicable law.
7Data Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. After that, we delete or anonymize it per our retention schedules.
